2nd rated rink in the state in this years survey just missing top honors. A's across the board in 9 of 11 categories. Yop food, great pro shop, nice locker rooms, great indoor viewing, well designed, and a great place to spend a Friday night during HS season. Most of our survey takers expected a bit more smiles from staff... :) One of NJ's best! Survey comments.. bigger benches is my only concern Floor tiles need replacing and management shouldn't wait for lawsuit with builder to settle to fix the problem. Management & employees should learn to be friendlier to their skaters, families, customers, etc. and maybe treat them with more respect. They should follow USA Hockey rules during all seasons. They should learn to be fair to individual players and teams and not to play favorites. People spend thousands of dollars at this facility and for many families, you do not even get so much as a hello from employee, manager or owner. They also believe they "own" your child and can do what they feel like with him or her. If you are one of their golden children, you need not worry. If you are an excellent hockey player, but not golden, you better start looking for a new home. As for question #6--we are no longer playing there. snack bar is a little expensive for water and gatorade, my son has played there since it opened for one team or another so we've gotten used to any of the vault's quirks lol. Tell the owner and general managers to listen to suggestions. Great rink no flaws I have nothing positive to say except that the food is good it's clean and well maintained. food at the snack bar is way above average for a rink, rivals some fast food places. pro shop staff is great. nice big lockerrooms good food great ice No signs of letting up on quality of ice, facility management, security, and the best food in the state. One of the best in the state. Best food for sure, and only perhaps Consignment Sports in Howell beats them in selection, but not in sharpening. You just feel good playing here
